Pre-Congress Tours

A range of exciting Pre-Congress tours have been scoped with detailed itineraries developed and indicative costings provided to view the full list and information Click Here.

  • Tours will commence in different parts of Australia and end up in Adelaide
  • Tours will vary in length from 4 to 10 days.
  • Some tours will commence with a full-day Forum engaging local communities. 
  • There will be a minimum number of delegates required for each tour before they can be confirmed.

Longreach to Adelaide Pre-Congress Tour 

Desert Channels Queensland is pleased to offer a special pre-congress Outback tour for attendees of the International Rangeland Congress 2025.

Dates: 22 May – 30 May 2025
Destinations & Activities: Longreach Show, Australian Age of Dinosaurs, Wetlands, Gondwana Dark Sky Observatory, Flinders Ranges, property visits, and a river cruise.
Cost: $5,900 per person (individual) / $5,600 per person (twin share, AUD)

As part of this exclusive tour, participants will also gain access to three Desert Channels Queensland Rangeland Forums, visit working properties, and explore significant conservation projects in the region.

This is a unique opportunity to experience Outback Queensland, engage with local communities, and gain insights into sustainable land management in Australia’s dynamic rangeland environments.

Mid-Congress Tours

Congress delegates will have a choice of six Mid-Congress tours that is included in their registration (except tour 6), with tours being held on the Wednesday of the Congress, 4 June 2025. All tours will leave from the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), and return to the ACC at the end of the day.

**Please note, each tour will have a capacity restriction, and once full will book out. All tours will require a minimum number of bookings to proceed. You may wish to select a Mid-Congress tour at a later stage, however, some may book out early. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).

A deposit equal to one night’s accommodation per room is required 30 days prior to arrival via booking portal. Final full pre-payment is required on check in. Less than 30 days notice for cancellations will incur a penalty equal to the first night's accommodation cancelled. Less than 7 days notice for cancellations or 'No Shows' will incur a penalty equal to 100% of the total accommodation. A 'Grab N Go' continental breakfast can be added on for an additional $15 per person. All guests are required to provide a credit card authorisation or cash deposit of $50 per room per night to cover any incidental charges, the balance will be refunded on departure. Undercover car parking is available to in-house guests at a charge of $20 per car per day.

By completing and submitting this registration form, you are indicating your intention to attend the International Rangeland Congress IRC 2025 and you will be liable for a cancellation fee if you are unable to attend. Registration cancellations must be sent in writing via email to All Occasions Group (AOG), conference@aomevents.com. Registration cancellations received up to 30 days prior to the Congress will receive a full refund, less a $150 cancellation fee. Registration cancellations received less than 30 days and up to 7 days prior to the Congress will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received within seven days of the Congress; however a substitute delegate may be nominated. Refunds from any deposits forwarded to hotels, tour companies or other related businesses will be at the discretion of the supplier.

Earlybird Policy
Payment of Earlybird registration fees are required by the cut-off date to qualify for the rate. After the Earlybird due date, all unpaid Earlybird registrations will automatically roll over and the delegates will be charged at the regular rate. Admission to the Congress and social functions may be refused if payment has not been received.
