Judge Mark Calligeros is a Judge of the District Court of South Australia, and a Judge and Deputy President of the South Australian Employment Tribunal (SAET). Prior to his appointment, Judge Calligeros had 30 years’ experience in insurance law, workers compensation law, employment law, disability discrimination, OH&S and industrial prosecutions.
In 2015, Judge Calligeros commenced as an inaugural Deputy President at the SAET and was appointed as a judge in 2017. He had a key role in drafting the 2015, 2017 and 2024 SAET Rules and is kept busy at home by a demanding dog and a dangerous cat.
Tori is the Operations Manager at PeopleVision and leads a cross functional team who assist clients in a broad range of workplace areas including workers compensation, self-insurance, work health and safety and digital system implementation. With over 19 years experience, Tori’s background is as a skilled Claims Manager, Return to Work Coordinator and Trainer.
Prior to joining PeopleVision, Tori worked as a learning and development manager and later as a national communications manager for a large third party administrator. She has practical experience in South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia and New South Wales.
Sean practises in industrial and workplace relations, building disputes, general litigation, family and criminal matters. He has now been at the independent bar for 25 years.
Sean took a short break from the bar between 2014 and 2016 to establish MBASA Legal an incorporated legal practice as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Master Builders Association of South Australia. He previously worked at the Police Association of South Australia, so he really has worked both sides of the fence.
Sean was voted as Best Barristers (junior counsel) in Employment and WHS Law in Doyles Guide 2022.
He was appointed as a Special Magistrate for the ACT on 18 January 2023.
In his previous life, Sean was a police officer with SAPOL, where he served in country police stations and finished his career in police prosecution at Holden Hill and Adelaide.
In his spare time, Sean plays golf. He is complete rubbish at it.

Catherine has been practicing in the workers’ compensation jurisdiction since the glory days of the 1971 Workers Compensation Act. She works at Union Legal SA providing advice to both union members and the wider public.
Joseph is a principal at Wearing & Blairs and has been representing employees for the last 30 years in workers compensation and other employment-related matters. Joseph joined the BSOTF organising committee in 2024.
Tracey was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1983. Tracey has expertise in general insurance, particularly public liability claims and recovery claims for self-insured corporate entities. She is listed in Doyle’s Guide as a Preeminent Workers Compensation Lawyer in SA.
Paris is a Barrister at Victoria Square Chambers. Prior to coming to the bar Paris worked in private practice and for trade unions in both South Australia and Victoria. Paris is regularly briefed in relation to employment, industrial, workers compensation, social security, tenancy, discrimination and NDIS matters. He has previously been a member of the Ministerial Advisory Council on Worker’s Compensation.
Deputy President Katherine Eaton was appointed to the SAET in 2022, following twenty years of legal practice as a solicitor and at the independent bar, during which she attended many Both Sides of the Fence seminars. She has extensive experience in workers compensation, equal opportunity and employment law.
