Cancellations & Refunds of Registration
All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Accounts paid by credit card will incur a merchant fee of 1.25% for MasterCard, 1.65% for VISA, 3.03% for American Express and 3.45% for Diners Club International. All transactions made online will incur a $4.80 web processing fee. Please note, these fees are non-refundable. By completing and submitting this registration form, you are indicating your intention to attend the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists Conference 2022 and you will be liable for a cancellation fee if you are unable to attend. All cancellations for registration at the Conference must be submitted in writing via email to All Occasions Group, conference@aomevents.com the professional conference organiser (“PCO”) appointed by The Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (“ASCC”) for the Conference. Cancellations on or before the date (“Cut-off Date”) that is 30 days prior to the commencement date of the Conference will incur a AUD$150 administration fee. This AUD$150 administration fee will also apply if all the funds are not paid before the commencement of the Conference. The registration fee for any cancellation received after the Cut-off Date will not be refunded, however the registration for the Conference can be transferred to another delegate, by notice to the PCO. The above cancellation and refund conditions apply even if you are unable to attend the Conference due to pandemic, illness, accident, Governmental legislation, regulation or order or other causes outside your control. Refunds from any deposits forwarded to hotels, tour companies or other related business will be at the discretion of the supplier.
COVID-19: It is the responsibility of each Conference attendee to determine if any COVID-19 Government health orders, regulations, recommendations or similar, or the requirements of the Conference or accommodation venue, may restrict or prevent the attendee from travelling or attending the Conference, and neither ASCC or the PCO will have any liability in respect of any such order, regulation, recommendation, requirement or similar, even if any of them change at any time after the date of registration for the Conference.
Accommodation
Alterations or cancellation of hotel accommodation must be sent in writing to All Occasions Group, conference@aomevents.com not to the hotel. Please refer to the cancellation conditions for each hotel. You will be required to accept these terms and conditions when completing the registration form. If you do not accept to the terms and conditions, accommodation will not be reserved. Each hotel providing accommodation for the Conference as outlined by the PCO will have their own terms and conditions that will apply to your accommodation booking, and neither the PCO nor ASCC has any responsibility or liability in respect of that accommodation booking. All accommodation room rates are listed in Australian Dollars and are valid for the Conference only if booked through the PCO. Rates include GST, are quoted on a per room per night basis and are for the room only (unless otherwise stated). Rates and all information are current at time of printing and may be subject to change without prior notification. Accommodation bookings made within 30 days of the Conference may be subject to an increase in the per night per room cost and further terms & conditions. The PCO and ASCC are NOT responsible for organising or finding sharers. If you are booking shared accommodation in a twin room, your booking must include the sharer’s name. A cancellation penalty may apply for accommodation bookings cancelled within 30 days prior to your arrival, at the discretion of the hotel
Earlybird Registration Policy
Payment of Earlybird Registration is required by the registration cut-off date to qualify for the rate. After the earlybird registration due date, all unpaid registrations will automatically roll over and the delegates will be charged at the standard rate. Admission to the Conference and social functions will be refused if payment has not been received.
Privacy Policy
All personal information provided to ASCC as part of registration or attendance of attendees at the Conference will be subject to the privacy policy of ASCC available at https://ascc.com.au/privacy-policy/. The privacy policy of the PCO will apply in respect of personal information provided to the PCO, in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Act 2000. The All Occasions Group (encompassing All Occasions Group and All Occasions Travel) complies with such legislation which is designed to protect the rights of the individual to privacy of their information. All information collected with respect to your registration for participation in this Conference will only be used for the purposes of planning, conduct of the event, or communication regarding future events. These details may be made available to parties directly related to the Conference including, but not limited to, the All Occasions Group, venues, accommodation and travel providers (for the purposes of room/travel bookings and Conference options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and other related parties as deemed necessary.
It is also usual practice to produce a ‘Delegate List’ of attendees at the Conference, and to include an individual’s details in such a list. By completing the registration form, you acknowledge that the details supplied by you may be used for these purposes. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided to the All Occasions Group is accurate and kept up–to–date. Liability
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, All Occasions Group (AOG) cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. AOG take no responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Conference. All insurance, including medical cover, or expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation of the Conference is the individual delegate’s responsibility. Attendees are encouraged to choose a travel insurance policy that includes loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through the cancellation of the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to take out insurance.
Photography & Video
During the Conference, photographer(s) will be taking photographs and videos on behalf of ASCC. Each Conference attendee consents to such photography and filming and agrees that ASCC will retain all ownership rights to those photographs and videos. The photographs and videos may be used for future marketing of ASCC conferences and other similar events of ASCC, without any liability to ASCC or any other party authorised by ASCC to conduct such marketing.
